READ THE PASSAGE
A two-way table records travel and hats. Walk: 14 with a hat, 6 without a hat. Bus: 10 with a hat, 10 without a hat.
Among the students who walk, what fraction wear a hat?

The condition selects walkers only: 20 students. Of them, 14 wear hats, so the fraction is = 7/10.
A little hint: Restrict the denominator to the group after “among”; do not use the whole table.
