APP & WEBSITE

Privacy policy

This policy explains the Little Learners app and this learning website. They work differently, and we want that difference to be clear.

Last updated: October 30, 2026

App play stays on your device.
This website collects the details you choose to send in the adult support form, along with information processed by its hosting provider to run and protect the site.

1. Inside the Little Learners app

The app does not require an account. Its lessons, fourteen Carnival games, artwork, sounds, table charts and worksheet tools are included locally. Core play does not need an internet connection.

Learning progress, earned stars, explored letters, completed-session identifiers, game scores, wins, answer totals, virtual prizes and play preferences are saved using native storage on your device. We do not receive this learning activity through an app server.

The learning journey also keeps recent answer records on the device: the first checked answer, correct and incorrect responses, retries, control misses or timeouts, skill and activity identifiers, and practice dates. It keeps at most 2,000 response events, 2,000 question summaries and 500 completed journey-session records. These support local parent progress views and suggested practice. Earlier stars do not create past answer history, and these records are not sent to a learning server.

The app does not contain advertising, analytics trackers or behavioral profiling. It does not ask for a child’s name, email, location, photos or voice recordings. The Messages game uses fictional, preset math prompts and numeric replies; it is not a chat service.

Worksheets are created on your device. If you choose Print, the operating system handles the PDF with your selected printer or print service. That service may use its own local or network connection.

2. A bundled learning voice

Narration is an AI-generated voice created with OpenAI before the app is distributed. Only fixed educational text is used to create these recordings. The resulting audio clips are included in the app and play locally. Some browser activities also play a small hosted set of these prerecorded cues after the files load. They do not send text, answers or a child’s voice to an AI service during play.

The app does not contact OpenAI, send learning activity to a speech service, record children’s voices or offer live generative AI conversations. No runtime API key is included. Parent settings and credits disclose the AI-generated voice, and you can turn sound off. Pausing, leaving, backgrounding or muting stops narration, including audio still loading.

3. This website and the support form

The public browser games and tools run in your browser without a learner account. Game preferences, scores or local practice progress may use browser storage on that device. Worksheets and practice questions are generated locally; tools do not request student names or send answers to a class dashboard. Clearing this site’s browser storage removes local web records. Browser play initially loads hosted files and is separate from the app’s bundled offline mode.

This website is hosted by Netlify. If you send a support or privacy request, the form collects your optional name, email address, message and adult-confirmation choice. We use those details to handle the request and communicate with you about it. We do not use support messages for targeted advertising or sell them.

Netlify Forms receives and stores submissions and applies spam protection, including a hidden honeypot field. Netlify may also process technical request information, such as IP addresses, browser information and hosting or security logs, to provide and protect its service. Submissions are available to the site operator through the Netlify account.

We have not added website analytics, advertising pixels, external fonts, marketing cookies or social-media tracking scripts. Hosting and anti-spam operations are separate from app learning data. Learn more in Netlify’s privacy statement.

4. Storage, choices and deletion

In the app, open Parents and choose Erase learning progress to remove saved progress, earned stars, game records, answer and retry history, journey cursors and practice suggestions while keeping play preferences. Uninstalling removes local app storage, subject to your operating system’s backup and restore settings. Because learning data is local, support cannot remotely view or erase it for you.

Website support submissions remain in Netlify’s form storage until removed by the site operator or managed under the service’s settings. We do not promise a fixed automatic deletion window. Hosting logs follow Netlify’s service operations and settings. You can use the support form to ask about, correct or request deletion of a message you submitted.

Please share only what is needed for your request. Do not include passwords, payment information or children’s personal details.

5. For parents and guardians

Little Learners’ intended educational audience is ages 2–9, with grown-up help as needed. Activities cover foundational skills and additional multiplication practice. The app does not collect children’s personal information through an online account, advertising system or speech service.

The educational audience describes the learning design, not a platform’s content rating. Refer to the app’s store listing, when available, for its published content rating.

The website support form is for parents, guardians and other adults. Children should ask a grown-up to contact us. If you believe a child’s personal information was submitted, contact support so the site operator can review and remove it.

6. Questions and policy changes

To reach Little Learners support or make a privacy request, use our adult contact form. You do not need to share a child’s name or learning history.

If the app or website changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and its date. This page describes the current app and website; it does not claim a legal certification or a particular store age rating.
