Watch the ducks and catch the one carrying the correct answer. Before reaching for a moving duck, name the number you want. An adult can read the prompt while the child handles the catch.
How to play
- Solve the fact first.
- Follow the duck carrying that answer.
- Catch carefully and enjoy the result.
Make one useful connection
After a turn, ask “How did you work that out?” Try an array, a known fact or real objects if an answer is uncertain. Moving, holding and remembering are extra skills; choose another interaction if those get in the way of the numbers.
