Notice spaces between printed words

The idea

A space is the gap between two words. Keep the letters inside each word together.

Step by step
  1. An adult reads the sentence slowly and points once to each written word.
  2. Find the gaps between words, ignoring the gap after the sentence.
  3. Choose the copy that keeps each familiar word together and separates neighboring words.

Example

Which copy separates the words in We hop?

Answer

We hop

The space comes between We and hop, not inside either word.
