Scientific calculator
Check a calculation. Keep thinking.

Supported expressions
Use numbers, parentheses, pi, e, +, −, *, / and ^. Functions: sin, cos, tan, asin, acos, atan, sqrt, cbrt, abs, ln, log, log10 and exp. Choose radians or degrees for trig and inverse trig. Ans is the last successful result. History keeps the latest ten calculations only in this page’s memory; tapping one restores its expression, angle mode and prior Ans for reproducibility. Press Enter or = to calculate. ln is natural log; log and log10 mean base ten. Powers take precedence over a leading minus, so −2^2 is −4; (−2)^2 is 4.
Calculator limits
One expression: at most 200 characters, 80 expression nodes and 20 nesting levels. Exponents are limited to −100…100 and finite magnitudes to 10^100. Only real-number numeric operations are accepted. Fractional powers of negative bases are not supported; use cbrt for real cube roots. The display rounds to 12 significant digits; decimal arithmetic can have rounding error. Assignments, units, strings, programming commands and variable definitions are unavailable.
Try it on paper
sqrt(3^2 + 4^2) = sqrt(9 + 16) = sqrt(25) = 5. Use the worked steps to check the calculator result.
